Alianza in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Powder Coat Painter to join a fast-paced metal manufacturing team. You will prepare, apply, and inspect powder coats on metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include surface prep, spray coating with electrostatic guns, curing, and final inspections. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of powder coating, industrial painting, or metal finishing preferred.
• Experience using electrostatic powder coating spray guns.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions and quality specs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking components as needed.
• Operate manual electrostatic powder coating spray guns to apply consistent coatings.
• Adjust powder coating equipment settings and application techniques as required.
• Load, hang, position, and unload metal parts on coating racks and production lines.
• Monitor coating coverage, thickness, and overall finish quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as needed.
