Job summary

Techmer PM in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Machine Operator on 1st shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Mon-Fri) to operate key manufacturing equipment and produce plastic compounds for unique customer applications. You will follow SOPs, monitor processes, and drive improvements to deliver high-quality product.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of manufacturing experience (extrusion preferred), ability to lift 55 lbs, and a willingness to learn plant equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to learn plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for custom applications.
• Follow safety SOPs to protect yourself and coworkers.
• Perform process measurement, control and improvement in assigned tasks.
• Learn and understand operating parameters to ensure in-spec, high-quality product.
