Job summary

McClancy Foods & Flavors is seeking a Packaging Production Lead to oversee 2nd shift packaging at our Fort Mill spice production facility. You will focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while leading frontline teams.

The role requires strong leadership, line optimization, and collaboration with QA and maintenance. If you have 3–5+ years in manufacturing packaging and a track record of driving efficiency, apply to join our growing Carolinas operation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Math and written skills required.
  • Ability to multitask on any type of project.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily 2nd shift packaging operations in Spice Production Facility.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture and enforce safety policies.
  • Lead and coordinate packaging line operations to meet daily production targets.
  • Ensure staffing, scheduling, and shift handoffs.
  • Escalate and resolve operational issues in real time.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop operators and technicians.
  • Provide clear expectations and performance feedback.
  • Conduct daily huddles and shift meetings.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Ensure all packaged products meet quality and customer standards.
  • Enforce GMPs and SOP compliance.
  • Partner with QA to address defects, holds, and non-conformances.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective work.
  • Track and report key production metrics.
  • Maintain accurate production and compliance records.
  • Communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional teams

Position Summary

The Packaging Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily 2 nd shift packaging operations in our Spice Production Facility, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Associate/Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3-5+ years of manufacturing or packaging experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging processes and equipment

All 2 nd Shift Machine Operators, Packers, Packing Forklift Drivers, & Bulk Packers at our Spice Production facility
