Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. in Nottingham, PA is seeking a Part-Time Packer to join our production team for 1st shift. This role supports packing and labeling operations on the line and requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform basic ERP data entry, assist with quality checks, and maintain a clean, organized work area. The position offers schedule Monday-Thursday, 8am to 3:30pm, with potential for extra hours based on demand and a retention

Qualifications

• Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Preplacement screening to test the ability to perform physical requirements.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Part-Time Packer position, to join our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday


• SHIFT: 8am-3:30pm


• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:

• Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

COMPETENCIES YOU BRING:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.


• Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.


• Must be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Good balance on slippery surfaces.


• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.
