Job summary

MalaceHR is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician I / Mold Cleaner for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) in Greenville, SC. The role is hands-on, focusing on preventive maintenance and basic repairs of facility and process equipment in a fast-paced production setting.

You will perform routine checks, replace worn parts, and document performance metrics while maintaining safety and clear communication with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of mechanical experience, including basic electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work.
• Ability to read basic instructions, complete simple reports and communicate with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on facility and process equipment.
• Check equipment for wear and replace parts like belts, hoses, filters, and fluids.
• Complete routine equipment checks during shift rounds and log results (pressure, temperature, performance).
• Ensure work orders are completed and documented; communicate delays or parts needs to site leadership.
