Job summary

FLOWERS.com Inc. is seeking a full-time Food Production Mixer Associate to operate mixers, measure ingredients, and maintain clean production areas. You will work a standard 8-hour shift from 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend hours during peak seasons.

You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and follow recipes in English in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include operating equipment, ensuring accurate lot codes and expiration dates, and

Qualifications

• Previous food production mixer experience in a factory environment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a 8-hour shift Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm.
• Additional hours including weekends is required during peak seasons.
• All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to follow recipes and measurements in English.
• Ability to correct lot codes, check expiration dates for all ingredients.
• Clean-up equipment, tables, scales, and utensils as needed.
• Must be comfortable working around moving conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all food production equipment and surrounding areas including Production, Oven Room, and Kitchen.
• Operate mixer machines and other related equipment.
• Measure out ingredients for batches.
• Fill out lot sheets for traceability.
• Follow instructions from Line Lead, QA, and Management.

Job description

We are looking for full-time, Food Production Mixer Associates who can work a 8-hour shift schedule between 6:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. This position will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining all food production equipment and surrounding areas which include the Production, Oven Room, and the Kitchen. The Mixer Associate is responsible for machine operation, measuring out ingredients, and filing out lot sheets. The Mixer Associate will report directly to and follow instructions from their Line Lead, QA, and Management.
All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, repetitive use of hands and arms, and walking, standing for an entire 8-hour shift.
