Job summary

Harry & David in Westerville, OH is seeking a full-time Food Production Mixer Associate to join our production team. You will operate mixers, measure ingredients, and help maintain all food production equipment in the Production, Oven Room, and Kitchen areas.

You will report to the Line Lead, QA, and Management and work a 6:30am–3:30pm shift, Monday to Friday, with additional weekend hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Previous food production mixer experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work 8-hour shift 6:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday
• Occasional weekends during peak seasons
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Follow recipes and measurements in English
• Check expiration dates and correct lot codes
• Cleanup equipment, tables, scales, and utensils
• Work around moving conveyors

Job description

We are looking for full-time, Food Production Mixer Associates who can work a 8-hour shift schedule between 6:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. This position will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining all food production equipment and surrounding areas which include the Production, Oven Room, and the Kitchen. The Mixer Associate is responsible for machine operation, measuring out ingredients, and filing out lot sheets. The Mixer Associate will report directly to and follow instructions from their Line Lead, QA, and Management.
All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, repetitive use of hands and arms, and walking, standing for an entire 8-hour shift.

Requirements

• Previous food production mixer experience in a factory environment preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a 8-hour shift Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm.
• Additional hours including weekends is required during peak seasons
• All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Ability to follow recipes and measurements in English
• Ability to correct lot codes, check expiration dates for all ingredients
• Clean-up equipment, tables, scales, and utensils as needed
• Must be comfortable working around moving conveyors
