Pay: $20/hr
Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday) - 6:30am-4:30pm
OT on Saturdays (6:30am-10:30am)
This role focuses on production MIG welding in the bulkhead department, working primarily with aluminum components. You will contribute directly to manufacturing high-quality bulkheads by performing precision welding and related metal fabrication tasks in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Perform production MIG welding on aluminum bulkheads according to specifications and quality standards.
Meet production expectations of approximately 1.5 bulkheads per day during the training period and 3.0 bulkheads per day after completing training.
Prepare bulkheads for final welding by operating grinders, brake presses, and shears as needed.
Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively during fabrication and preparation processes.
Assist with general fabrication tasks, including fitting, positioning, and securing components prior to welding.
Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Participate in weld testing as required to demonstrate skill level and maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and address any issues that may affect output or quality.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
