Job summary

This 2nd shift role (3:30 PM – 1:30 AM) involves inspecting inbound materials, organizing stock, performing cycle counts, processing outbound shipments, and operating forklifts, all while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year experience with ERP/inventory systems.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent; aerospace shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against PO/shipping docs.
• Store and distribute inventory to designated locations.
• Support cycle counts and inventory transactions.
• Prepare outbound shipments with carriers (FedEx/UPS).
• Kit and issue materials to production teams.
• Maintain shipping and inventory records in company systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Follow ESD, quality, and inventory procedures.
• Keep warehouse clean and compliant.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered accurately to support production and operational needs.

This is a 2nd Shift, 9/80 position: 3:30PM - 1:30AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and verify against purchase orders and shipping documentation.

• Store, organize, and distribute inventory to designated locations.

• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory transactions.

• Prepare and track outbound shipments using carriers such as FedEx and UPS.

• Kit and issue materials to production teams in a timely manner.

• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records within company systems.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.

• Follow ESD, quality, and inventory control procedures.

• Keep warehouse and stockroom areas organized, clean, and compliant with company standards.

Pay Rate: $22.58 /hr - $33.33/hr
