Marathon Staffing is seeking an experienced Material Handler for 1st shift in Cookeville, TN. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, packing/unpacking materials, and assisting with stock and ERP-based receipt of goods.

Forklift certification and ERP familiarity are required, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour, full benefits, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years material handling experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and verify bill of lading and packing list.
• Coordinate with purchasing and other departments to resolve packing list discrepancies.
• Inspect and identify damaged goods; document and report as needed.
• Record materials received on purchase orders and distribute copies to relevant personnel.
• Verify outbound shipments and package them to ensure safe arrival.
• Maintain filing and archiving of warehouse documents; follow all warehouse processes.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
