Job summary

Marathon Staffing is seeking an experienced Material Handler for 1st shift in Cookeville, TN. You will load and unload trucks, package materials, stock and pull parts, and maintain accurate ERP records with timely receipts.

The role may require forklift operation; you will lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 100 pounds. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Material handling and forklift experience required.
• Familiar with ERP systems and accuracy in records.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail; HS Diploma or GED with 1–2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments.
• Verify bill of lading and packing lists; unpack shipments.
• Resolve packing list discrepancies with purchasing.
• Inspect and identify damaged goods as needed.
• Record materials received on purchase orders and distribute copies.
• Ensure ERP receipt of materials within 24 hours.
• Verify outbound shipment accuracy and package securely.
• Maintain filing and archiving of documents.
• Follow warehouse processes and keep areas orderly.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; may lift more than 100 pounds occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
