Job summary

Hypertherm Associates in Lebanon, NH is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to support Just-In-Time production. The role emphasizes material movement, cycle counting, and lean process adherence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will handle materials, maintain inventory levels, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while complying with 5S and safety standards. Requires forklift certification and strong MS Excel usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and strong time management skills.
• Good computer skills for Oracle transactions.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel focus).
• Ability to be certified as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Handles and refills assembly materials (raw materials, bins, packaging); ensures materials delivered in quality condition and on time to support 5S and Lean processes.
• Transfers finished goods between cells and maintains appropriate inventory levels to optimize flow.
• Performs designated manufacturing processes using existing procedures and quality expectations for on-time delivery.
• Participates in process improvement activities and applies lean principles; supports 5S and cleanliness in the cell/area.
• Perform inventory transactions, daily cycle counts and scanning audits to maintain inventory integrity.
• Other duties as assigned (may include assembly or additional production support).
