Job summary

HireGenics, Inc. in Wendell, NC is seeking a Material Handler to move materials including receiving, storage, picking, and delivery in a fast-paced environment. The role uses SAP and RF scanners, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy. First shift 6am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 90-day contract to hire.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, and good English communication skills, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and RF scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high traffic areas and narrow aisles.
• Inspects moving equipment daily.
• Unloads and receives production materials physically and records in the SAP system.
• Counts and verifies counts for incoming material within the storeroom.
• Picks materials for inside and outside customers using RF Scanners with count accuracy.
• Performs cycle counts daily of materials in the storeroom.
• Packs and ships materials efficiently and damage free for shipment to our customers.
• Loads materials for outgoing shipments and ensures proper documentation to drivers.
