Pro Resources Staffing Services is hiring for a tire warehouse position in Whitestown, IN. The role involves using RF scanners, loading and unloading tires, inspecting and stocking inventory, and team lifting heavy bundles.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with weekends off. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment with forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate RF scanners and follow receiving/put-away procedures.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance required.
• Comfortable working in tire warehouse with forklift and pedestrian traffic.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and handle tires safely.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners to locate and track tires.
• Load/unload tires from trucks and move to storage.
• Inspect tires for defects and quality.
• Stack tires on racks and put away in storage bins.
• Pick tires from assigned storage bins for orders.
• Band tires together for shipment.
• Team-lift bundles weighing 150-175 lbs and move ~3 feet.
• Assist with wrapping pallets, scanning tires, and building pallets.

While on assignment, your Pro Resources Staffing team will be there to support you and to aid in your job success!

Job Position Description:

• Use of RF scanners
• Load/unload tires on/from a truck
• Inspect tires
• Stack tires on a rack
• Put away tires in assigned storage bin
• Pick tires from an assigned storage bin
• Work with a partner to load tires (weighing 5-35lbs each) onto a banding pole
• Band tires together for shipment
• Team-lift bundled tires weighing approximately 150-175lbs and offload them into designated areas about 3 feet away
• Some days there will be miscellaneous work assigned such as: Wrapping loaded pallets, scanning tires, inspecting tires, and building pallets.

Ideal Candidate Background

Candidates must have a strong work ethic and have a good attendance. They should also have reliable transportation to and from work. Candidates must be comfortable working in a tire warehouse environment with forklift and pedestrian traffic, varying temperatures, contact with tires, and use of warehouse equipment. The flexibility to work well in a warehouse environment as an individual and as a team is paramount.
