Qualifications

• Heavy-duty material handling experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting is required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience moving oversized loads beyond standard pallets and boxes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory/warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport large, heavy, and awkward materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Position and maneuver oversized loads with attention to balance and clearance.
• Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Record material movements using inventory management software.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S and Kanban practices.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

This direct hire opportunity offers excellent benefits, a four-day workweek, and long-term career growth. This position requires forklift experience handling oversized industrial materials. Experience limited to moving standard pallets and boxes will not meet the requirements for this role.

Schedule:Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM–4:00 PMOvertime is likely available on Fridays

What You'll Do

• Safely load, unload, and transport large, heavy, and awkward materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Carefully position and maneuver oversized loads, accounting for balance, clearance, and surrounding equipment and employees.
• Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Record material movements using inventory management software.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kanban practices.
• Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous heavy-duty material handling experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
• Proven forklift experience moving large, heavy, oversized, or awkward loads beyond standard pallets and boxed freight.
• Strong understanding of load balance, stability, and safe maneuvering when handling oversized materials.
• Prior forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
