Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Etna, Ohio is seeking a Permanent Full Time Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role offers a Monday–Friday 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Expect duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. A high school diploma and forklift license are preferred, along with reliable attendance and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator's license certified.
• 1+ year related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Audit and manage paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Support automated packing system during core shift hour.
• Perform duties per contract performance guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Schedule: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
