Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, OH. The role offers a base pay of $23.00 per hour with a $0.50 raise after 6 months and 1 year, plus overtime and productivity incentives.

Flexible weekly schedules, 44–55 hours weekly, and a 11‑hour shift are available. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, stock discount, and weekly pay. Training is provided and attendance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.
• Perform duties within contract performance measurement guidelines.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives)

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour

• .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year

• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour

• Additional Pay:

• Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr

• Monthly attendance bonuses

• Sign-on bonus:

• $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 days

Requirements

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

• Performs other duties as assigned.
