Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Material Handler (Water Spider) to support our plastics manufacturing operations. The role involves material handling, stocking presses, housekeeping, and ensuring a safe and efficient production floor.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Equal opportunity employer; eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and recognize numbers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

• Put away finished product correctly.
• Perform housekeeping duties per standards.
• Keep presses stocked with totes and skids.
• Maintain returnable storage area stock.
• Keep front wall/aisles clear.
• Remove stock and equipment from presses during mold changes.
• Keep returnable lids picked up.
• Follow and enforce safety standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Plant Supervision.
