Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Technician I in Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect production equipment in accordance with finished product specifications.
You will minimize scrap, promote workplace safety, and provide process information to management to optimize equipment and workflow. Shift is 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and you will perform preventive maintenance, complete documentation, interpret data, and assist with inspections and
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.
The role of the Technician I, Product Test & Calibration is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on equipment in compliance to finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or corrected. Facilitate workflow and ensure production is maintained.
