Job summary

Peak Nano, a US-based, AI-driven technology company, is seeking a 1st Shift Manufacturing Technician in Valley View, Ohio. You will follow established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and consistency while supporting extrusion operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 4+ years in manufacturing), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, proficiency with Excel and Word, and willingness to learn and adapt as the team scales.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or 4+ years’ manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new skills, concepts, and applications.
• Flexible and capable of adapting to change.
• Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary; remain standing/walking for extended periods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word.
• Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and metrology, if needed.
• Experience with operating a tow motor and/or material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate discipline in procedures and work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and consistency.
• Recognize and document defects or deviations from specifications, escalating issues to ensure product quality and process integrity.
• Adapt to evolving team structures, schedules, and responsibilities as operations scale.
• Develop a mechanical understanding of the extrusion process for career growth.
• Establish and maintain organized workspaces for cleaning, inspection, and daily operations.
• Support film extrusion operations from tooling or product changeovers to metrology testing and characterization.
• Perform all material handling functions pertaining to raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress.
