Job summary

Philips is seeking a Team Leader in Latham, NY to oversee safety, quality, and efficiency of the production area on the 1st shift. You will lead a cross-functional team and coordinate with engineers, planners, and supervisors to ensure on-time deliverables.

The role requires a high school diploma or vocational training, prior manufacturing leadership experience with up to 20 people, willingness to overtime, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or vocational training.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams (up to 20 people) preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is beneficial.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspects products and conducts quality checks per instructions.
• Reports disruptions to team leader for swift resolution.
• Ensures components and documents meet quality specs.
• Proposes improvements to quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Operates and oversees manufacturing equipment per instructions.
• Sets up equipment for pilot runs and validates production processes.
• Maintains records of daily production and pilot runs for analysis.
• Maintains teamwork and communicates with supervisors and coworkers.
• Demonstrates computer skills and uses drawings for startup of new products.
