Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. seeks a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician I with 1 year of industrial experience to troubleshoot and maintain machinery and grounds equipment, ensuring safety and quality across the facility.

The role requires reading ladder logic, PLC HMIs, and performing preventative maintenance, with on-site benefits and a $1.50 per hour shift premium; CPR/first aid and lockout/tagout training are a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing.
• Mechanical, welding and cutting skills.
• Read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
• Good problem solving, safety practices and attention to quality.
• Meter usage and ability to complete measurements.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• CPR and first aid training may be required.
• Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined space training.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Allen Bradley PLC.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
• Enter data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
• Perform advanced electricity in order to work in maintenance field safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
