Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex machinery. The role involves disassembly, reassembly, wiring work, and conduct preventive maintenance across plant equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, familiarity with CNC machinery, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. High school diploma and technical training preferred; military training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with CNC machinery preferred.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle and repair machines to access defective parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and consult manuals or blueprints.
• Assemble or repair wiring, electrical components, or piping.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts.
• Order parts from catalogs or suppliers.
• Plan repair work using diagrams and manuals.
• Clean work areas and perform general cleaning of facilities.
• Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or drywall.
• Align and balance new equipment after installation.
• Inspect used parts for dimensional changes with measuring tools.
• Cutting, grinding, brazing and fabrication activities.
• Develop equipment configurations.
