Job summary

Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Technician for the 1st shift (6a-2:30p). You will help maintain campus facilities, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations and a high standard of quality.

Requires extensive maintenance experience with or without formal schooling or a tech certification. Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills are essential; a valid driver’s license may be required

Qualifications

• Extensive and progressive maintenance experience with or without formal schooling or certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing, replacing, and installing equipment.
• Oversee boiler room, electrical room, mechanical room and all mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and address needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime.
• Operate Pleasant Acres motor vehicles.
