POSITION PURPOSE

As a Maintenance-Only Repair Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of minor repairs on pallets, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The primary focus will be on tasks such as nail removal, board replacement, and adding missing pieces to extend the lifespan and functionality of pallets. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established repair guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of hand and production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a production support or materials handling role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment Basic understanding of quality control procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Utilize nail gun frequently – approximately 35lbs. Drags/Pulls pallets frequently- up to 75lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Position is in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with conditions including but not limited to cold, heat, bright sun, noise and nuisance dust. Position requires standing for long periods of time.
