Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift at the Linden Road site in Rockford, IL. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment while ensuring a safe work environment and supporting internal customers to meet site goals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 3-5 years related experience, or a two-year degree/certification. Strong math, basic computer skills, and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience or training.
• Two year degree or certificate preferred but not required.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills required; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs and running adjustments.
• Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve OEE.
• Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Planning, Engineering and Production.
• Attend meetings and document actions for value streams.
