Job summary

Construction Job Force in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (1st Shift) to lead maintenance Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring safe, reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems.

You will manage preventive/corrective maintenance, oversee electrical and multicraft work, and drive continuous improvement within a unionized, onsite manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and team leadership.
• Hands-on multicraft maintenance experience.
• Experience implementing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Experience with Fanuc robots in manufacturing.
• Budget management and cost control experience.
• Experience conducting performance reviews.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance supervisors and technicians.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely maintenance on 1st shift.
• Develop, schedule, and manage preventive maintenance program.
• Evaluate maintenance work for safety and reliability.
• Direct electrical, refrigeration, water, steam, and gas systems operation.
• Lead troubleshooting during equipment breakdowns.
• Plan equipment needs and acquisitions to boost ROI.
• Review time records for accuracy and compliance.
• Schedule daily duties and ensure standards are met.
• Promote cost-reduction in maintenance activities.
• Develop and manage the plant maintenance budget.
• Conduct/perfrom employee performance reviews and development plans.
• Lead special projects on upgrades and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability and uptime.
