Role Overview:

This location is part of our Prepared Foods Division. As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will work cross-functionally across the facility, maintaining equipment to influence company performance. Your role is vital in ensuring team member safety through proactive maintenance and problem-solving. We operate in a fast-paced environment that values growth and skill development. Join our team!

Responsibilities:

1. Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks, providing technical support across operational phases.
2. Manage electrical control systems proficiently.
3. Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
4. Understand mechanical systems involved in machinery and equipment.
5. Troubleshoot issues within manufacturing processes specific to Tyson Foods.
6. Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve operations.
7. Communicate effectively with management and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Training beyond high school, such as an associate degree in electronic technology or related field, or equivalent experience including skilled trade programs or military training.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software, document management, and SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Special Skills:

• Good safety and attendance record, interpersonal skills.
• Skills in AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, and electrical safety procedures.
• Knowledge of electronic devices, PLC systems, and control instrumentation.
• Mechanical maintenance skills including bearings, gears, belts, seals.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Preferred skills include basic microcomputer skills, advanced PLC programming, and electronic motor drive technologies.
