Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician for first shift in Buffalo. The candidate will install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain various plant machinery, diagnose issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision.

A minimum of 2–5 years in machine repair and knowledge of prints and shop math are required. Starting wage is $30.35/hour with increments to $32.74 after one year.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years Machine Repair experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to read construction and machine design prints and perform shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain various machines and equipment throughout the plant.
• Diagnose trouble, determine repair methods, and perform installations with minimal supervision.
• Work with construction and machine design prints and use standard tools.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation and assist supervisor as needed.
