Job summary

Spacesaver Corporation in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator (Manufacturing - Storage) for 1st shift. You will operate preset machines, read shop orders, and perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, using the ERP system, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to safety protocols and overtime requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate preset machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers to produce parts according to shop orders.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
• Use Spacesaver's ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
