Job Title: Fabrication Technician II

Location:

Pataskala, OH

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay Rate:

Starting up to $19.50/hr

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate should have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance. Must be comfortable working in a team environment with specific production goals. Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial setting is required. The role involves working closely with production team members, safety, quality, and engineering departments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Learn and follow work instructions.
  2. Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards.
  3. Meet or exceed production standards.
  4. Maintain excellent time management and communication skills.
  5. Work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Be self-motivated.
  7. Follow company safety and departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain a neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology.
  9. Make recommendations to improve processes.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Primary Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to fulfill each primary duty satisfactorily. Minimum qualifications include:

  1. High School diploma or GED preferred.
  2. Commitment to quality compliance and productivity.
  3. At least two months of relevant experience, including machine operation and maintenance.
  4. Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  5. Ability to follow work instructions from start-up to shutdown.
  6. Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  7. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to read and understand basic English and perform basic math, including reading a tape measure.
  9. Self-motivated and proactive.
Workplace Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Ergonomic Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to use power tools safely.
