Job summary

Pivot Point, Inc., a Hustisford, WI manufacturer of non-threaded fasteners, seeks qualified candidates for a Full Time 1st Shift Float—Light Assembly & Lower Dock Assistant. The role runs Monday through Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime as needed, and requires ability to learn press setup and hand assembly per blueprints.

Forklift experience and driving record are essential. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing assembly and material handling experience, good safety practices, and a solid

Qualifications

• Must learn to set up pneumatic and hydraulic presses and hand assemble metal fastener parts per blueprint and shop order for dimensions and tolerances.
• Must have a good driving record and forklift driving experience.
• Requires strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity with small parts.
• Requires experience with Material Handling or Shipping/Receiving.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently in Shipping/Lower Dock.
• Read simple blueprints and QC sheets for product specs such as dimensions and tolerances.
• Ideal candidates will have solid, long-term work history and recent Manufacturing Assembly and Material Handling experience.
• Pay starts at $19-21 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Manually and mechanically assemble pins, lanyards, rings, or other metal parts.
• Operate company truck and/or other material handling equipment to move parts within the facility and load/unload vendor trucks.
• Operate machines and perform duties in a safe manner.
• Maintain expected production rates.
• Engage in excellent housekeeping and safety practices.
