Job summary

Pivot Point, Inc. in Hustisford, WI is seeking a qualified 1st Shift Secondaries Department Machine Set-Up Operator with Assembly. The role requires setting up pneumatic/hydraulic presses and hand-assembling metal parts per blueprints and shop orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience with machine setups and assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with metal parts preferred
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity with small parts
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Solid, long-term work history preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up various pneumatic and hydraulic presses and hand assemble metal fastener parts according to blueprint and shop order
• Manually and mechanically assemble pins, lanyards, rings, or other metal parts
• Operate machines and maintain safe practices
• Maintain production speeds
• Read simple blueprints and QC sheets for specifications
• Work well in a team and also independently
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards
