The Role

We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Lead Pharmacy Technician to supervise and support our team during dayshift operations. This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who thrives in a leadership position, enjoys problem‑solving, and can manage workflow with independence when senior management is not onsite.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coach pharmacy technicians during 1st shift operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions in compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Resolve workflow issues, quality control concerns, and prescription discrepancies in collaboration with pharmacists.
• Lead dayshift handoffs, ensuring smooth communication between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance coaching for 1st shift staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for dayshift operations.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or shift‑lead role.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently and keep operations running smoothly after hours.
• Familiarity with pharmacy fulfillment systems, quality control processes, and compliance requirements.
• Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
