Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to join our team at Columbia St. Mary's in Ozaukee, WI.

The role operates on a 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, performing specimen processing and accessioning activities in a high-volume lab setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and some clinical or medical industry experience, with strong data entry and teamwork skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more clinical or medical industry work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process anatomic pathology specimens.
• Accession specimens and prepare processing runs.
• Maintain histology instrumentation.
• Distribute pathology materials and assist procedures.
• Unpack, label and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Data entry of patient information and ensure accuracy.
