Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate for a 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) in Kearny, NJ. You will ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate product receipt, storage, and shipping, and support claims and account administration.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in cold and dry storage environments. Responsibilities include maintaining records, performing cycle counts, identifying stock

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Experience in inventory management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records.
• Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
• Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
• Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventories.
• Verify accuracy of shipping orders against stock numbers and catalogs.
• Review files to identify unused items and potential disposal.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety standards.
