Job summary

Lineage is hiring for an inventory specialist to compile and maintain records of product inventories, both physical and virtual, through daily cycle counting and replenishment activities. You will manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping within the facility.

The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work in cold and dry storage environments and lift up to 40 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand instructions in official language of the country or defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records.
• Put together data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
• Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Address damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
• Locate products to ensure correct IDs; perform cycle counts.
• Review stock numbers and catalogs to verify shipping accuracy.
• Review files to identify unused items and propose disposal of excess or damaged products.
• Operate warehouse material handling equipment following safety standards.
