Job summary

Home Chef is seeking an Inventory Clerk in California to support warehouse organization, counts, and reporting. The role reports to the Inventory Manager and adherence to GMPs and SQF safety programs is required.

The position follows a 1st shift schedule (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) with Saturdays and Sundays off. Responsibilities include organizing the warehouse, counting, tracking product movement, and maintaining proper storage practices while working with the inventory control team.

Qualifications

• Count large quantities of product in items, cases, and pallets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Average computer skills, especially in Word and Excel.
• Ability to problem solve and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize warehouse and ensure locations are designated for products.
• Follow FEFO / FIFO practices and monitor for expired products.
• Record waste, disposition, and inventory movements.
• Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to Inventory Manager.
• Ensure stocking efficiency for upcoming menu items.
