Job summary

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, seeks an assembler to build automotive lifts and components according to production schedules. The role starts at $17.86/hr with an attendance incentive, and shifts run 5:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Thursday with every other Friday.

Responsibilities include assembling lifts and components, supporting 6S safety initiatives, and aiding in process improvements to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to use assembly tools.
• -capable of reading a tape measure.
• Understanding of blueprint reading.
• Excellent communication at all levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of process interaction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Understanding of general manufacturing.
• Must stand for long periods and work extended hours.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds periodically.

• Must wear PPE and adhere to safety guidelines.

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible for assembling automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Starts out at $17.86/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and every other Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive lifts and components/accessories
• Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with emphasis on safety
• Suggest and assist in process improvements which assures quality, efficiency, and safety is built into the process
• Assist in fabrication processes as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• An understanding and ability to use assembly tools
• Capable of reading a tape measure
• Understanding of blueprint reading
• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Strong understanding of process interaction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Understanding of general manufacturing

• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
