Responsibilities

• Get assigned work from racks or supervisor
• Clock in and out of jobs
• Lay out each job neatly
• Read and use prints or manuals to verify build
• Assemble job quickly and correctly
• Maintain vigilance to identify and prevent potential errors before they occur
• Examine parts and ensure they conform with specifications and have no defects; report any issues
• Bring completed work to the supervisor and ask for testing and verification against standards and inspection requirements
• Understand which hand tools and special tooling do what and use them appropriately
• Build most products with sub‑assembly low levels (1’s, 3’s and some 4’s)
• Have general knowledge of lubricants, Loctite usage, seal and O‑Ring usage
• Have basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Collaborate closely with the entire assembly department to address challenges and optimize processes, assisting others as needed
• Once approved, clean, bag and tag completed work
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by supervisor (e.g., material handling)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing general housekeeping duties as needed
• Perform duties while following all safety protocols
• Work and communicate efficiently with all co‑workers to address challenges and optimize processes
