Tyson Foods in Bakerhill, AL (Eufaula Plant) is seeking an entry-level Harvest Room Labor to support live chicken processing on the production line.

You will stand, walk, and perform basic labor tasks in a cold, damp environment, with strict adherence to safety and biosecurity guidelines; training will be provided.

This is a first-shift, full-time role focused on maintaining a safe, efficient operation while complying with Tyson policies.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for openings in the harvest room department.

Tasks

• Processing live chickens to maintain a full production line.
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are requirements of the position.
• This position requires working in cold, damp, hot, dusty, and humid environments with wet, slippery surfaces

Must be able to complete required training.

Must be able to perform the duties of the position.

Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements

The jobsite is a biosecure environment which may require showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility.

Applicant may not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl species while employed by Tyson.

Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company.

No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry.

Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).

Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Will be trained to recognize and comply with all Safety procedures
