Job summary

JPS Composite Materials LLC is seeking a Hand Enterer to prepare warps by hand, drawing warp ends through drop wires, heddles and reed. The role ensures proper loom harness setup per frame, following the scheduled drawings for future warp styles.

Strong reading comprehension and manual dexterity are essential. This on-site position requires the ability to lift moderate weight, stand, bend, and pull as part of daily setup and handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written instructions, construction sheets, master cards, and weave draft.
• Requires ability to lift moderate weight and perform bending, standing, and pulling.
• Ability to work independently to a degree and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and hand draw warp ends through drop wires, heddles and reed for weaving prep.
• Check drawing schedule and build loom harness by loom type and heddles per frame for future warps.
