Responsibilities

• Lease empty warps, tie-in and pull over new warps.
• Prepare and tie-in replacement warps with minimal downtime in a quality manner.
• Follow safety rules and department procedures; operate equipment safely.
• Meet production goals set by department manager.
• Complete daily team maintenance (DTM) activities.
• Audit safety items in department.
• Identify weave defects and perform basic weaving tasks.
• Execute intermediate computer functions to locate and move batches.
• Lease empty warps and tie-in and pullover new warps.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience operating sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Will work as part of a team to lease empty warps, tie-in and pullover new warps.
• Prepare and tie-in replacement warps with minimum downtime in a quality manner.
• Includes lease/haul, tie-in, and smashing.
• Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & absolutes.
• Operate equipment in a safe mannerMeet production goals set-out by department managerFollow proper policies and procedures and job specifications set out by department and locationKnowledge of Warp Replacement policies and procedures.
• Completing daily team maintenance (DTM) activities.
• Auditing safety items in department.
• Identify weave defects and perform basic weaving tasks (tying knots, drawing ends, etc.).
• Execute intermediate computer functions to locate and move batches.
• Lease empty warps and tie-in and pullover new warps.
