Job summary

Leonhardt Manufacturing Co. is seeking a General Laborer to support metal fabrication with precise part prep, basic equipment operation, in-process inspection, and material flow. You will follow written specifications in a fast, clean, organized environment.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to read and write English, and committed to safety, punctuality, and teamwork. Training will be provided for the right applicant in a manufacturing setting.

Position Summary

The General Laborer will support metal fabrication operations with precise part prep, basic equipment operation, in-process inspection, and material flow. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to follow written specifications in a fast, clean, and organized environment.

Essential Functions

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic shop equipment and hand tools.
• Inspection: Visually inspect parts for defects (cracks, pits, incomplete welds) and report issues.
• Material Flow: Move and stage product to the correct areas with accurate identification.
• Quality & Safety: Work to established quality standards; follow all safety procedures and housekeeping (5S) practices.
• Coordination: Prioritize tasks and communicate with management; support teammates as needed.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
