Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking a General Laborer for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm). This privately-held metal fabrication company produces components for a wide range of industries and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform light assembly, simple machine operation, packaging, shipping/receiving and help with general cleanup in a fast-paced environment. A HS diploma or GED and a positive attitude are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in a team environment.
• Basic math and ability to take precise measurements with a tape.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• HS diploma or GED required for employment.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various general laborer job duties as needed, including light assembly, simple machine operation, packaging, shipping and receiving, etc.
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations/maintain safe work area.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Strong work ethic.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to work within a team environment and willing to follow direction.
• Must possess a positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Six months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
