Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate (Freezer). You will manage products through the warehouse, interpret and apply policies, and communicate procedures to ensure safety and quality. Reports to the Supervisor/Lead.

Starting pay is $18/hr with Mon - Fri schedule, 7:30am until finish. You will operate a forklift/pallet jack, pull materials, scan orders, and assist with loading trucks. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic reading and writing skills are required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
• Ability to work in 32°F temperatures consistently.
• Able to lift 80 lbs consistently.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to operate a forklift/pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw material and re-pack into another box.
• Scan orders.
• Build stock orders.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Operate powered pallet jack / forklift.
• Help load trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
