Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a maintenance technician in Marianna, FL to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on distribution center equipment. The role includes handling lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical gear, with a 5am–3:30pm shift and a pay rate of $26/hr.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, assist other technicians, and maintain a safe, organized work area while complying with safety procedures and documenting work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred
• 1 year of experience repairing/maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in industrial or similar setting or two years related vocational training
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools operation
• Able to read maintenance manuals and electrical diagrams/blueprints
• Experience with 3-phase 480-volt industrial electrical systems and motor controls preferred
• Willing to work shift, overtime, weekends and holidays
• Customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock equipment and electrical gear.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex material handling systems and facility systems (fire control, alarm, radios, dock doors).
• Assist maintenance technicians and maintain organized, safe work area.
• Complete work orders and maintain records and logs.
• Operate material handling equipment and battery equipment as needed.
