Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator in Alabaster, AL. The role oversees and assists with the full production of automotive glass, operating a sit-down forklift on the line and moving loads safely.

Shift is 3:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime possible; pay is $17.45 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with benefits including weekly pay and health-related coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have regular attendance and punctuality to support essential shifts.
• Must be able to pass a forklift assessment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate loads safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift and move loads around the production area.
• Assist with production tasks on the line for automotive glass.
• Apply primer and silicone to glass as required.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Operate machinery as needed in various departments.
