Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is hiring for a 1st shift Forklift Operator at the Alabama Decatur Prepared Foods Plant. The role focuses on operating forklift equipment, setting up the debone area with coolant and tubs, and transporting finished product through scales and manifest areas.

You will work in a fast-paced poultry processing environment, requiring adherence to PPE, safety procedures, and company policies. Training provided; benefits on day one; long hours possible including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in poultry industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up debone area with coolant, tubs and transport, as required.
• Transport finished product to scales and manifest area.
• Move product for rework as needed.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary condition and replace battery when needed.
• Follow directions and cooperate with supervisors and other departments.
