Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Alabama. The role responsibilities include operating a forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck to move freight, replenish inventory, and ensure safe, efficient distribution operations in a multi-temperature environment.

The shift schedule includes Sunday 2:30 PM start and Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM start. Eligibility requires a High School Diploma/GED, 6+ months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and pass a

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift, stack, and/or pull products up to 60-90 lb.
Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
Move incoming freight to staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
Rotate stock to front of rack and remove outdated inventory per policy.
Disperse over-stocked items to available slots; inspect and secure pallets.
